The BMW i5 is a derivative of the new generation BMW 5 Series. The i5 will initially launch two power versions, the eDrive40 and the M60, with a 400V electrical architecture, and both models are equipped with a Li-ion ternary battery pack with a capacity of 81.6kWh. Among them, the i5 eDrive40 adopts a single-motor rear-drive layout, with a combined maximum power output of 340 hp, 0-100kph acceleration of only 6 seconds, a top speed of up to 193 kilometers, and a WLTP range of 582 kilometers. i5 M60 adopts a front and rear dual-motor layout, with a combined maximum power output of 601 hp, 0-100kph acceleration of 3.8 seconds, a top speed of 230 kilometers, and a WLTP range of 582 kilometers. WLTP range is 516 kilometers.
