The BMW X1 is a model under the BMW brand. As a luxury compact SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle), it integrates dynamic handling, spacious and comfortable interior, luxurious features, diverse functions, intelligent connected driving, and excellent off-road performance, comprehensively meeting the daily driving needs of users. Brilliance BMW launched the X1 model, which is not only produced at the Brilliance BMW Tiexi plant, but is also BMW’s first high-end SAV produced in China. Brilliance BMW launched the all-new second-generation X1 model. This model adopts a more space-saving transverse engine layout, replacing the old longitudinal design, and is built on the new UKL platform. Compared with the overseas standard wheelbase version, the wheelbase of the second-generation Brilliance BMW X1 has increased by 110mm, and compared with the previous generation, the wheelbase has also increased by 20mm.
In terms of appearance, as a mid-cycle refresh, the overall proportions remain largely unchanged from the current model, with the main changes being the addition of the latest family design elements in certain details. The iconic double-kidney grille is larger, and combined with the sporty front bumper, it delivers a stronger visual impact. Furthermore, the headlights have been improved, with the addition of spoon-shaped LED daytime running lights making them look sharper and more imposing. The new BMW X1 measures 4565/1821/1620mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2780mm.
Interior-wise, the interior retains the style of the current model, with changes again focused on details, such as the use of a new electronic gear selector, further enhancing the luxurious feel of the cabin. The new BMW X1 comes standard with LED headlights, sporty front seats, an electronic gear selector, six-color ambient lighting, and a driver-side welcome emblem.
In addition, the rear seats of the new BMW X1 can slide forward and backward by 13cm, and an additional 100L of storage space is provided under the luggage compartment floor, offering excellent storage capabilities.
In terms of powertrain, the new BMW X1 is equipped with two engines: a 1.5T and a 2.0T, balancing powerful performance with fuel efficiency. The 1.5T model delivers a maximum power of 103 kW (140 hp) and a maximum torque of 220 Nm. The 2.0T model boasts a maximum power of 141 kW (192 hp) and a maximum torque of 280 Nm. Both engines feature a new electronic gear selector that enhances safety while providing a more enjoyable driving experience. A 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and an 8-speed automatic transmission further optimize dynamic performance. Furthermore, the BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel-drive system offers more agile handling and better control in various road conditions.
