The BYD E2 is a compact electric vehicle from BYD Auto. The new car was launched on April 6, 2023, with a range of 405km.1 On March 13, 2024, the BYD E2 Glory Edition was officially launched with two models and a CLTC pure electric range of 405km.
Exterior
The Exterior design of BYD E2 is very youthful, adopting BYD’s family-style dragon face front with matrix LED headlights, which looks stylish and dynamic. The side lines of the body are smooth, and the wheels adopt a two-color chrome design, which increases the sense of hierarchy. At the rear, BYD E2 adopts penetrating taillights, which echo the front face and also enhance the recognition at night. In terms of body dimensions, BYD E2’s length, width and height are 4318/1785/1530mm, and the wheelbase is 2610mm, which is the standard level of a compact car.

The Interior design of BYD E2 also continues the youthful style, adopting black as the main color with red and silver accents, creating a sporty and technological atmosphere. The BYD E2 2023 Comfort is powered by a 95hp pure electric motor with a maximum power of 70kw and a maximum torque of 180N-m. Equipped with a 43.2kwh Li-FePO4 battery, it has a pure electric range of 405km as announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).This powertrain performs well in its class, with a smooth and strong output, making it suitable for daily trips and commuting to and from work.
Configuration
Compared to the entry-level model, this version has a guide price of 7,000 yuan more, but it also comes with seven more features. These seven features are faux leather seats, a 12.8-inch center screen (10.1-inch in the entry version), a leather multifunction steering wheel, 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels, LED headlights, a built-in trip recorder, and LED daytime running lights.
