Based on the aesthetic concept of “technological industrial aesthetics”, the R&D and design team of GAC Trumpchi GS8 highlights the digital sense of technology and emphasizes the industrial weight, and builds a new design language – Star Diamond Diamond Shadow, and launches two sets of exterior designs to meet the more personalized needs of users under the tone of “domineering, tough and fashionable”. The “Conquering Eye” headlamps are the first of its kind in the world, adopting an open-close design. The headlamps adopt LED light source, with 4 headlamps on one side and 8 headlamps in total, together with the vertically designed “grating” daytime running lamps and the array luminous technology to form eye-catching fighting eyes, and create a sense of the future and recognizability with the array luminous technology.

GAC Trumpchi GS8 is equipped with light welcome combinations, including Conquering Eye Welcome, Red Diamond Tail Light Welcome, Exclusive Welcome Light Blanket, Musical Light Show and so on. When the vehicle is unlocked, the front and rear headlight light language welcomes the guests, and the exclusive welcome light blanket is full of luxury.

Interior design

The seat material is soft and skin-friendly, with diamond shadow gradient three-dimensional quilting texture and leather perforation, the whole is full of a sense of science and technology and a sense of luxury. At the same time, the body pressure distribution technology realizes “0” pressure sensation, which greatly improves the fit and comfort of softness and hardness.

GAC Trumpchi GS8 selects safe, healthy and comfortable smelling materials to create a high-quality cabin air environment. The seats are made of environmentally friendly materials, the interior is made of large area soft covering and TPO environmentally friendly materials, and the air conditioner is equipped with PM1 filter and plasma generator to create a healthy cabin. The GAC Trumpchi GS8 Twin Engine Series is equipped with the 2.0TM + the new 4th generation enhanced THS II Toyota Hybrid Powertrain, the first Chinese branded model to be equipped with Toyota’s THS hybrid technology, and also the world’s first to use a 2.0T engine paired with Toyota’s THS hybrid technology. Thanks to this class-leading powertrain combination, the new second-generation GS8 Twin Engine series accelerates from 0-100km/h in 6.9s and consumes 5.3L/100km under NEDC conditions.
