Jetour Mountain & Sea is a newly created new energy product series by Jetour Auto. Covering usage scenarios such as hybrid family travel and hybrid off-road travel, Jetour Mountain & Sea offers urban off-road SUVs, rugged off-road SUVs, and pickup trucks. Leveraging the core advantages of the Kunlun off-road platform, Kunpeng Super Hybrid C-DM technology, Lion Smart Cockpit/Dazhuo Smart Driving, versatile space capabilities, and a travel+ ecosystem platform, it aims to meet the new travel needs of the Chinese market with its brand DNA of freedom, authenticity, travel, and craftsmanship. In April 2024, the new vehicle was equipped with Kunpeng Super Hybrid C-DM technology, powered by a 1.5T engine and 3DHT transmission, and equipped with a 43.24kWh battery from CATL, offering a pure electric range of 208km and a combined range of over 1300km. On the evening of April 22nd, Chery launched the Jetour Mountain & Sea T2 model, positioned as a travel off-road hybrid SUV. The new vehicle offers three models, priced between 179,900 and 209,900 yuan. On August 30, 2024, at the 2024 Chengdu Auto Show, Chery’s Jetour Shanhai L7 mid-size SUV officially began pre-sales, offering four models with a pre-sale price range of 135,900 to 159,900 yuan. On April 15, 2025, the all-new Jetour Shanhai L9 was officially launched.
In terms of safety performance, the Jetour Mountain & Sea T2 adopts a steel cage body structure, with high-strength steel accounting for up to 80%, and uses integrated laser welding. The torsional stiffness of the entire vehicle body reaches 32,000 N•m/deg, with strength comparable to “submarine-level”. The array-style high-density roof with 8 crossbeams provides users with a rock-solid “road armored vehicle”. Battery safety is also highly valued. It uses high heat-resistant CATL cells, meeting world-class battery safety standards. Before installation, the power battery undergoes more than 400 rigorous tests, including vibration, impact, extrusion, fire, immersion, high-pressure water flushing, bottom ball impact, and bottom scraping. A 2mm thick high-strength steel battery bottom guard plate is also installed on the chassis, which can withstand bottom scraping at 30km/h, ensuring battery safety in all aspects. Furthermore, the new vehicle is equipped with L2.5 level intelligent driving assistance, a 540° panoramic imaging system, and DMS driver fatigue monitoring.
