The Jetour Traveler is a mid-size SUV launched by Chery Automobile, positioned as the first model in its light off-road series. It measures 4785×2006×1880mm (wheelbase 2800mm) and offers three powertrain options: a 1.5T, a 2.0T gasoline version, and a hybrid version. Pre-sales began on August 25, 2023, at the Chengdu Auto Show, with a pre-sale price range of 150,000 to 250,000 yuan. A 2.0T Yueye version was added on April 5, 2025, equipped with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.
The vehicle is built on the Kunlun architecture, and its exterior design continues the style of the Jetour T-1 concept car. It features a floating center console screen and a Qualcomm 8155 chip platform, utilizing the Kunpeng powertrain and XWD intelligent four-wheel drive system. The 1.5T and 2.0T engines have maximum power outputs of 135kW and 187kW respectively, with a combined fuel consumption of 8.35-8.83L/100km. In the first half of 2025, this model retained its position as the champion in the boxy market with sales of 71,700 units, bringing its global cumulative sales to 281,000 units. Exports cover markets in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Its approach angle of 28°, departure angle of 30°, wading depth of 700mm, and non-unibody construction make it suitable for various off-road scenarios.
The Jetour Traveler is built on the Kunlun architecture and its styling is a faithful reproduction of the Jetour T-1 concept car. The “JETOUR” brand logo is centrally located on the front grille, with the headlights integrated into the grille. Widened wheel arches, large wheels, and black side moldings showcase a rugged design. The new car measures 4785*2006*1880mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2800mm.
Interior-wise, the new car features a T-shaped, flat layout. It is equipped with a large floating central control screen, with a digital instrument cluster embedded within. Based on previously released specifications, the new car utilizes the Kunpeng powertrain and XWD intelligent four-wheel drive system, and is powered by the Qualcomm 8155 chip platform.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with two gasoline engines: a 1.5T and a 2.0T. The 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 135kW and a fuel consumption of 8.35L/100km; the 2.0T engine has a maximum power of 187kW and a fuel consumption of 8.83L/100km.
